American Express Membership Rewards - Kudos to global assist

Delta managed to lose my luggage last night, and I could get no information from them. I called global assist, and they were extremely helpful. They had their own contacts at the airline, and managed to get me status where before I could get nothing. They continue to call the airline every 2 hours and give me updates. They also offered me all types of other helpful services (which I happened to not need)

Does anyone know if the level of service differs between types of Amex cards, or do all members get this excellent service?

Is Global Assist with teh Plt Amex Charge Card?

I asked the agent who has been helping me, and she told me that for the luggage assistance in particular they provide the basic service the same way for all levels of cards. For Centurion, the member will be put high up in the queue, and they will generally contact the airline more often. For non-Centurion, it seems like they will call the airline once per day, where for Centurion they will call every two hours.

Anyone know if the other Global Assist services in other countries will do lost luggage service as well? It seems that they promote the legal and medical help much more related to Global Assist in many other countries and not mention anything about lost luggage, maybe that is a benefit for USA only?
