I own a small business, but if I sign up for the small business SPG card I get 10,000 miles, whereas if I sign up for the regular consumer card I get 10,000 and 15,000 bonus points if I spend 15k within the first 6 months. The cards seem almost identical except for the fact that the small biz card has some measly discounts at Fed-Ex and Dell. Why not just get the regular card?

You should get both. Business for business spending and personal for personal spending. If your employees are issued "additional" CC's you get the points.

Are there any advantages or disadvantages going with one card vs. the other? I've heard people say that you have better protection with the personal card...and others say that you can't pay your balance off multiple times during a billing cycle on the business card.
