I have a complicated codesharing/miles question. I fly alot from Boston to Paris. I usually go via Ams. The flight times are good, the Boston lounge is right by the gate and I can survive the getting in a 7 and having to make the Paris connection. I usually use miles to upgrade to WBC and ocasionally buy (have paid for)WBC. BUT there is direct Air France Boston-CDG connection which is a codeshare with Delta. If I took the AF/Delta flight (a)would I get miles counting to NW elite status (b)would I get miles counting toward NW upgrades (c)could I use NW miles to get Bus. class upgrades. My assumption is (a) no (b)yes, but it would be complicated and (c)no.
I would appreciated those any information from those more sophisticated in this stuff.
