American Express Membership Rewards - Current US Amex Centurion benefits?

Had this card a few years ago and then dropped it. I called today to find out current benefits and Amex is now very secretive about publicizing the benefits. Apparently they want you to pony up $7,500 ($5000 initiation and $2500 a year) and then they'll tell you the details.

Can any current US cardholder shed the light on current airline partners and elite levels? Agent told me you get CO Gold, DL Gold and US Gold, but also said UA and VS elite status as well. At what level?

Amex agent I spoke claims that the hotel program offers guaranteed hotel upgrades the time of booking with numerous hotels including Four Seasons.
Is this true and how many other hotels chains are participating?

SFO777,

Can't help with most of this, but I can confirm that you DO get Virgin Flying Club Gold status, and you do NOT get any UA status for a US Centurion.

The guaranteed hotel upgrades come through one of the smaller programs, but I can't remember whether it's Relais & Chateaux, Fine Hotels and Resorts, or Small Luxury Hotels--I get these programs confused anyway ;)

If you do a quick search you will find lots of threads here discussing the Centurion benefits.

True, do a search. But to correct a couple of things: You get US Platinum, not Gold. The hotel upgrade confirmed at booking time is a function of the individual hotel; not the program. There are many of them.

Thanks aviators99 and MKE-MR, that's helpful. Amex agent did say there was 1 Plat but he couldn't ID it.

So you want to get the complimentary US Plat level, then have another airline status match it?
