Las Vegas - Going to Vegas 1/10-1/13 AVN Awards

So I'm heading out to Sin City with a group of 8 (guys and girls). I'm no Vegas amateur, but I've never been there during the AVN awards either.

We are staying at Wynn and have booked tables ahead of time at Blush (Thursday), Tao (Friday), and Body English (Saturday). We're doing dinner at Tao and Boa (Fri/Sat, Respectively). I had a feeling lines would be insane given the end of CES and the start of AVN...so we'd rather go the bottle service route.

Any thoughts on my itinerary? I've been to Tao a few times and was at Blush when it was Lure.

Also, have any of you been to Vegas during AVN? If so, has it been noticeably different than your other visits?;)

I started at Blush on a Thursday, it was ok. But we ended up at Tao and it was awesome. So even if you didn't go to Tao Thursday, Friday night should be fun. Be sure to have a good host for BE. Getting in their is chaotic.

I've had friends there during AVN. It's not that big a deal, really - it's a small event (relatively speaking). Unless you knew it was happening, you could easily miss it. Though, of course, you would wonder why there was so much more silicone than usual in the casino.

I lived in LV for many years and AVN isn't that big a deal. As someone else said unless you specifically look for it, you'd have no clue it's there. The expo is interesting though, I'd suggest you go. But don't expect non-stop porn stars walking down the street or filling up night clubs, not gonna happen.
