Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - How often does F class get "redecorated"

Last time I went SQ F (2005, SFO-SIN) the seats looked a bit like they could do with re-upholstering, and the cabin was generally a bit tired. Do these cabins ever get a makeover? How about the SKR F lounge at SIN (which was also a bit gloomy - as was the sleeping SQ agent at the Info desk!)

Chances are, SQ will not touch F (or C) on their 744s.
They are supposed to be retired soon after delivery of A380s.
As for SKL, new T3 will be in operation from early next month with new SKL in T3.
And, there will be a separate lounge for KF golds (and I assume other *Gs).

Thanks... about the new T3, is it only for SQ? Will my LAX-SIN-CMB in F be routed through T3 mid 2008?

That's a scary thought if you think SQ F looks tired. What's your take on UA F? From what I've seen and experienced the cleanliness of SQ aircraft and that of UA aircraft aren't even in the same league.
From what I read there will be 4 other carriers in T3. One of those carriers will be United.

I must have been in a cabin that was just a bit past due for a freshen up - bad luck I guess. It was very clean. Apart from that, service and comfort were extraordinary, of course!
UA F is a bit cramped on a 747, I thought, and obviously in a different league that SQ.

I been mostly in C of the 777s of SQ. They definitely have a very tired look particularly on the flights to India and China. The absence of AVOD definitely does not help.

Most of the 777, even those with the regional C/F seats, still have AVOD. But I agree that those seats are not aceptable for flights of more than 4 hours In November I had to suffer in them on an overnight flight from MEL to SIN........ Certainly not a very pleasant expeience.....
