We will be taking an Easyjet flight from Venice to Berlin after a two week cruise. It is going to be very hard to pack for this cruise and not go over the 20kg weight limit for our Easyjet flight. But I am determined to pack light and avoid the overweight penalties.
I need to buy two carry on bags that are as close to the max Easyjet allows which is: 21.6" x 15.7" x 7.8 " after converting to inches. I understand that Easyjet is very strict about the carryon size. I don't want to spend too much as I already have a couple of totes that are too large. If anyone can give me any suggestions for reasonable bags as close to those dimensions as possible, I would be very appreciative!

Easyjet doesn't have a weight limit for hand luggage - the 20kg is for checked luggage

I know there is not weight maximum for the hand luggage. That is why I asked about carry ons within the linear dimensions of EasyJet...trying to maximize the size of the carry on without going over the dimensions I mentioned above.

While Easyjet have no formal weight limit for hand baggage they state that you have to be able to lift it into the overhad bin unaided.
Talking as someone who has recently travelled with a (checked) bag weighing 18 kg I think you will probably find it quite difficult to lift 20 kg into the overhead bin...

how strict are they? I will be taking carry on luggage from CDG in a few weeks. My bag is one on wheels and is pretty much within their limits, might be a half an inch over. Will that be a problem?

In my experience you should get away with it, but you can never be sure that you will not have a jobsworth booking you in.
Also by then there should be new rules on hand baggage which should relax things.
