US Airways Dividend Miles - HELP! How to find cheapest airfare from an ORIGINATION city?

Is there a website that has a feature that would let me calculate the cheapest airfare from an origination city?

I need 700 more miles to renew my USAirways Platinum level by 12-31-07. I am trying to find the cheapest flight for me to get those miles. USAirways gives a minimum of 500 miles per leg so any round trip tickets I buy will get me a 1000 miles and put me over the line for 75000 preferred miles.

This week I can originate from any of the Los Angeles area airports.

Thanks and hope y'all have safe holiday travels,
Jack

Congratulations on your first FT post! :)

Since you are asking about US Airways renewal, I'll move this over to the US forum, where even if there isn't the kind of tool you are looking for, the boys and girls of that forum should be able to give you some pointers!

You might try an e-saver on usairways or united but they would require an overrnight stay and you could only leave on a saturday. United tends to have better, more affordable options than US does.....you would still get the miles and segment credits if you took UA.

Welcome to FlyerTalk, Jack17

Try a site like farecompare.com (http://www.farecompare.com/search/flyertalk.html?departure=LAX&fares=Domestic&carrierFilter=US&filter=ALL&ppm=9999&savings=99999&distance=0&sortby=ppm&p=1) for ideas and cost...

Best wishes.

I think what you are asking for is to be able to find the cheapest flight to anywhere from a specific airport. I would use fare compare. www.farecompare.com and select top deals graphic.

Thanks,

William
