Star Alliance - confused about RTW availability, is it special class, or just M/H on each carrier?

Hi all, I am trying to put together a last minute RTW for a work trip where they have let me suggest an itinerary to get to Chile, and I thought that I had everything set up correctly with valid routings, etc (using the staralliance.com trip planner), but then I realized that I probably have to check the actual availability of seats for each flight I want to take, so that the itinerary can be booked without problems.

The trip is about 2 weeks away, and I think seats are running out. But I am confused, in the *A RTW word document, it tells you the class that each airline books its RTW seats as, such as SQ goes into M class, AC-->H class, etc. But is that exactly what inventory the seat needs to come out of (ie. when looking on seatcounter), or do RTWs come out of a special unshown inventory? I'm confused because the document says "each carrier will make seats available at its best judgment."

If it is exactly the booking class that it needs to come out of, I am hosed at this late date, I'm pretty sure... (traveling right around New Years)

Yes there needs to be availability in the specified classes.

Note that availability may be less than what appears when you look up using an availability tool under those booking classes - due to differences by point of sale, married segment logic and fare basis.

Conversely, close to departure some airlines may release additional availability if the loads aren't high enough.
