OOPS--sorry I didn't say in the thread title that this appears TARGETED!
Anyhow, I must stay I was stunned to get this one--last January and February, I did 13 stays and got Plat for the first time--I'd gotten an out-of-the-blue offer from SPG, whom I had only stayed with 2x in the last 3 years before that.
I assumed I wouldn't get another chance at a Double Stay Credit, but here it is!
Choose one earning option below for stays between December 1, 2007, and February 29, 2008, when you register by January 15, 2008:
1) Earn up to 24,000 bonus Starpoints®. With every four eligible stays, you'll earn 6,000 bonus Starpoints (up to 16 stays and 24,000 total bonus Starpoints).
2) Stays count double. Maintain — or enhance — your elite status. For example, if you stay three times, you'll receive credit for six stays (Platinum status typically requires 25 stays or 50 nights within a calendar year).
3) Earn double Starpoints. Earn twice as many Starpoints — specifically, five Starpoints for every eligible dollar spent during your stays.
