How often are updated balances due reported by AmEx to the credit reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax, Trans Union)?

I believe they report your last statement balance once per month.

Usually monthly, although sometimes it misses a month. Always quick to register late payments too.

Agree with the others. I have never seen one of my credit reports without up to date credit info.

For the charge cards, they report once every 2 month. For the credit cards, they report each month since theres a line of credit being issued.

You sure? I subscribe to CreditSecure and although my Plat's balance is reported 60 days behind, it's always reported differently every 30 days.

I was told by the AMEX agent that for their chargecards its once every 2 months... but if your credit report says otherwise, maybe she was wrong?

Heh. We all know that AmEx (or anyone's, for that matter) phone support is never wrong! :D

For a US Business charge card ( obtained by using a US SS# of the primary card holder ) AMEX does not report to any consumer credit reporting agncy.

...something that has annoyed me for quite a while. You can bet that anything negative would show up on said primary card holder's credit report.
