We are spending a couple of nights in Las Vegas after driving from California. We then take a plane from LAS and then come back to LAS three days later. My question is should I park in the long-term parking at LAS or leave the car at the hotel where we're staying and get a shuttle to and from the airport from the hotel? The hotel is on the Strip. We will drive back to California the same day we return to LAS.

Long term parking is $6 a day and is pretty convenient if you are leaving las Vegas after you landed. You may have to wait for the hotel shuttle or stay in line if you want to take a taxi.

The only issue is that McCarren parking has really been filling up; even the long term has been full, at which point they send you up by Thomas & Mack. The good news about that is that even that lot is served regularly by a shuttle, and it's FREE. Which is a pretty good deal, if you don't mind the inconvenience. In any event, if you want to park at McCarren, just leave a bit of extra time so that you are able to adapt to parking circumstances as you arrive at the airport...
