Is there a way to use the BB messenger on like a Windows PDA?

Total guess here but I think BB messenger uses the push technology so it might not work on WM. Total guess.

No. There is no other client access to bb messanger other than on your blackberry. Blackberry direct connect device (nokia e61 etc) don't have it either.

I'd love to have a desktop version...

Here's how push works under WM5-6: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/articles/directpush.mspx. You need Messaging and Security Feature Pack (MSFP) and Exchange Server 2003 SP 2 to run it.

I'm not sure why you posted this answer as it has nothing to do with the question posted.

Blackberry messenger does indeed not work on the PocketPC, but there are other messenger apps for WindowsMobile. I use IM+ by Shape Services but there are countless others. Sadly none of these will do pin to pin communications, so you'd be stuck with the large IM networks only.

is there a way for pin to email? Mainly I want to use this cause as with tmobile roaming I get free international internet, and its easy to take to a few friends at home, though some have a tytn, so its a bit more difficult

Nope, as far as I know Pin messages are really only pin to pin. There are no gateways, or even "other" ways to send PIN messages. They only go device to device.

It's somewhat annoying when Blackberry Connect will receive PIN messages, but not send them.
