Suggestions - Can we have 'crumbs' when you hover your mouse over a thread title?

I subscribe to other internet board sites where you can hover your mouse over the thread titles and it shows the first sentence of the post, I think they are called crumbs:cool:. This is very handy when there are ambiguous titles eg 'help needed' but you don't want to waste time clicking onto it to see if it's interesting.
Can this be implemented in FT?
Thank you.

I have also seen it on other boards. It would be great help to have. There also could be a checkbox in your profile to enable/disable this feature.

I can't stand crumbs.:td: It's an obnoxious interference, and leaves limited area for one's mouse cursor to just hang out.
If deployed, it should not be the default option.
I agree with essxjay; I find that feature annoying. I think this has been brought up before and shot down because of the extra strain on the servers due to the size of FT.

I like the idea of having 'crumbs'. However, only if there is a way to disable them. It should be up to the user, if he or she wants it.

I like crumbs. If it was optional, that's fine too.

ditto... one of the most, if not the most, annoying BB features I've seen.
