Can someone advise on the best way to get from NYC to Pakistan. I can fly into Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad.
Are there any non-stop flights?
Which are the best airlines?
Thanks
I have never done this trip myself, but to me it's one of those "should I go left, or should I go right?" routings.
There seems to be two ways to do this trip, the cheap way, or the short way.
The more expensive, but shorter, journey:
JFK-AUH-KHI on Ethiad - total flight time 19 hours
The cheaper but longer:
JFK-PEK-BKK-CGP-DAC-KHI on Air China and GMG Airlines (http://www.gmgairlines.com/) - total flight time 36 hours

I think PIA flies from New York.
Check out www.piac.com.pk for schedules.
I would also suggest Malaysia Airlines, Thai and Emirates.
They have flights out of the U.S to Pakistan via their home bases.
Check out their websites.
Cheers!

I just learned that I could go via Singapore Air with only one stop.

my fam took emirates over the summer, it was from san antonio to new york, from new york to dubai, from dubai to karachi.
Pia will go from New York to a stop somewhere in England, then to Karachi.
Pia is cheaper and is pretty much budget airline internationally while Emirates is higher but seating is more comfortable.
