The most basic one - just craddle type for both business and first classes. May not even have PTV - but individual dvd player will be there.

a follow up question - anyone know if there is a way to tell which version of the 747-400 they use based on ticket/reservation number? just curious...

Nope. Usually they don't decide which type to use until one week before the flight, so there can be some variations. Therefore, the type (mostly) does not appear on your reservation. Well, still old version is used on ICN-SYD mostly.
By the way, if you can see seatmap of your flight, then you'll be sure which type it will be - because all types have slightly different seat allocation.

Thanks for the note. Since I had a travel agent book this trip, I can't see the online seating chart. I generally like KE, but some of these quirks, especially about the web site, make it tough sometimes to want to fly them.
