Have heard from one of my colleagues that the Peninsula Hotel in Manila has been bombed? Apparently there are tanks etc etc. surrounding it and the place has been sealed off!
Can't find anything on the web, CNN is blocked from where I am right now, and nothing in the Pen website.
Can anyone shed some light - am supposed to stay there this weekend.

Odd...usually BBC is always blocked in China, but today it's CNN!!
Anyone have any info on whether there is any damage to the hotel?

An armored vehicle rammed the door open to get into the lobby. It wasn't pretty.
Either way, it's all over now.
