Probably a cheap way to travel through Germany and major cities in Europe with some advanced planning. The best part of his experience is that he used to rent a car every weekend to visit his girlfriend and was able to cover his rental and fuel costs with the money he received from taking other passengers. He also collected rental car credits to get free rentals and upgrades with Sixt^ A true budget FTer in spirit.
