Hello from Laptop Lane at the UA B gates in ORD Terminal 1. Thought I'd pass along my impressions:
Flyertalk loads pretty slowly. "I know T1, I've worked with T1, and this, sir, is no T1 connection.." (with apologies to Sen. Bentson).
For the price, it makes me wish I had a laptop with a 56k modem. But it's nice to be able to be in touch. E-mail access works smoothly and there are plenty of microsoft applications as well as a laser printer, fax, telephone and 20" monitor included in the price (Around $5 first minute then $.28/minute thereafter).
BTW, unless I find an internet terminal in San Juan, I'll be off-line for a week. Hasta, my friends!!!
