Thanks I have three National rentals in the next 10 days.
Hope the miles post unlike a bonus promo they had last Spring when the regular miles posted but I am still wating for the bonuses, was not enough miles for me to call them a second time.

Has anyone received their bonus miles yet? As of today, the bonus for my 9/17 rental has not been received.

Dear Chetney:

I am in receipt of your email regarding bonus miles credit. The bonus miles
will post to your account 6-8 weeks after the promotion end date.

So we're looking at 6-8 weeks after 10/15/02.

That explains why I couldn't get it to register today when I tried. The program is over.

Latest news from National, since its now been over 10 weeks:

"Thank you for the inquiry. I would first like to apologize for the delay
in the posting of your bonus miles. Unfortunately there was a delay in
sending the requests to the airlines. This was due to the Airlines' delay in
providing the proper codes to submit them. These codes were provided on the
20th of Dec. and the request was sent at that time. It will be approximately
6 weeks from that date before the miles post. Again I am sorry for the
delay.

All the airlines "failed to provide proper codes" and then all provided them on the same day? Uh, yeah.

Notice in the current issue of Insideflyer National is saying they are " re-evaluating whether to continue giviving miles to renters"
That is one company that really dont care if they go away despite being a Emerald Club member for over 15 years.

I called 1-800-445-5664 on 1/6/03 and was told that Alamo miles from a March 02 Alamo res would be deposited by this Monday via email. The csr couldn't believe that it could take this long. I had already written those miles off and was calling on a different National res from Aug 02 but since Alamo/national merged all they could see was my Alamo info. So Alamo couldn't help on the National res so . . .

Was transferred to National on the same phone line (originally provided to me by National) and was told the 50 miles per day for the August National res would post 6 -8 weeks. When I said I had heard this before, the csr said "well they will."

I'm not holding my breath.
