I've been renting from Alamo, mostly due to the 2x credit special on WN right now. It's amazing that the credits show up into the WN account within a day or two of returning the car.
Last week, I skipped my usual online check in since I had no printer access. At the counter, I asked if my WN frequent flier number was in there, and was told yes. Returned the car on Thursday. On Friday, looked at the receipt, and saw that the WN discount code (10%) was included, but my Rapid Rewards number was not, nor was I charged the usual 50 cents/day for FF credit.
I emailed them on Saturday to see if anything could be done. The auto-responder said I'd hear back in 24 hours, but being the weekend, I wasn't expecting anything till Monday. And I was worried I'd be SOL, especially not having paid the fee. In fact, I got a reply Sunday afternoon stating they had put the request in to WN and they would post in 6-8 weeks, and the next day, Monday, the credit (including the bonus half credit) was showing in my WN account online.
