What do travelers in BP generally wear? Is it business attire, or casual? I guess people may generally wear anything, but I was just curious if there was a common dress pattern. In particular, what might be recommended for being comfortable on the overnight flights in BP. I had read where some people may change clothes, even into pajamas, and that some airlines even provide pajamas. I understand ANZ does not offer, and I don't see myself wearing PJ anyhow, but I do like the idea of changing into something comfortable. I was just curious what other do. Thanks.

No need to wear business attire, most people going staight from work change into comfortable clothes anyway.
I found BP in the 747 a little too warm and did not even use the duvet, YMMV.
My opinion, just wear what you want but unless you have a good looking female body stay away from the skin tight or mid-drift exposing clothes please!:p

I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt which seems fairly standard. As mentioned above it's usually quite warm, especially during the 'night' bits on long haul flights.

Togas. Most everyone in Business Premier wears togas these days. They go great with all the swilling of wine and eating of grapes. They're also super comfortable. Make sure you wear a toga or risk not fitting in. It's best to bring your own toga, but you can always ask the FA for one if need be.

I hestitate to mention what we used to wear in First Class back when it existed ...

Not much point with NZ, as I have never had an OP UP, on UA I tend to wear a collar if booked in to Y, but if I am confirmed in C, shorts, tshirt and jandals, if I m going somewhere warm, jeans and hoodie if destination is cold...

Regardless of carrier, on long haul flight I usually wear a pair of cargo pants or clean pressed carpenter jeans , a clean & pressed shirt and a sport coat (I wear those pants as an occupational hazard as a photographer, I shove batteries, cards at times lenses or flashes in my pockets, so those pants make up 95% of my wardrobe).

Up getting into my seat I usually ask to have my button up shirt and sport coat hung up and I put on a dark coloured hooded zipped up sweat shirt. My hood usually comes up on wheels, and except for trips to the "room for one" it usually stays up until wheels down.

Comfortable and practical.

For me, regardless of length of flight I am usually off to work upon clearing immigrations and looking for my return flight , or a flight somewhere else, less than 24hrs after I land.........so it is all about comfort and usability.
