Many airlines & hotel co.s have a program by which a business can buy miles/ points (usually a min. of 100K) to be awarded to clients or employees. I believe some tCC operators are already doing this ;) , but it would be nice to have FT open such acct.s, which could then be used to top off our personal acct.s so we don't have to pay outrageous transfer fees nor hope someone has enough DC/ Amex/ e-rewards to put into our acct.s!
The only problem is that such miles cost money & re-selling them to FTers (even at cost) would run afoul of the tCC prohibition against cash transactions.
