I recently canceled a reservation at a Hilton hotel a couple of days before I was supposed to check in. I even received a cancellation number via email. A few days after the stay I received a survey asking me how I liked my stay. I then looked at my account and saw that it posted!
I'm thinking it's best to call the hotel to get credit rather than disputing the charge with my CC company or with the Diamond Desk. As long as they gave me points I'd rather keep them. Any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone else?
