Read about this in Las Vegas Advisor this week. Is this place as good as it's cracked up to be? I'm in Vegas over the weekend and thought I'd check it out if it is.

I'm also having a Lotus of Siam craving and could be talked into dinner there Saturday night. :)

It's the real thing: some of the best of it's kind anywhere!

Also: On a par with Lotus of Siam is Firefly, on Paradise: outstanding tapas restaurant, and an iDine member giving 3x bonus miles on a registered cc. http://flyertalk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=8583492&postcount=239

So anything on the menu that stands out as a must-have? And please provide specific details :).

The Western is probably the most popular: Hot Fudge, Caramel and Pecans; and if they've made a batch of Cheesecake or Maple Walnut.......There you go! ;)

The roaches agree!

(The owner's name is Greg: he's there ALL the time. Ask him about it!) :D

Bad news - the idine page shows Firefly is leaving the system at the end of the month. I didn't see reference to 3X miles. Maybe I missed it or that expired.

Rats! (Roaches?)

The 3x miles iDine bonus was a nice perq.! Yeah, Mrp. Alert took my wife and me there for the excellent tapas a month or so ago. The 3 bonus miles per dollar, (which I received in a timely manner), on top of the 1 mile for every dollar spent, was part of the appeal. Sorry to hear they're opting out.

Mahalo for the heads up!

We just tried Luv-it on our last trip and it will now be incorporated into our Las Vegas routine. It was really great, although finding it is a bit of a chore. It is easy to drive by (several times). We just had plain custard, no roaches.

A coworker of mine in Vegas introduced me to this place last year. Some of the best frozen custard I've ever had. I agree though, if she hadn't been navigating, I would have had a hard time finding it.
Also - don't know if you have the Vegas entertainment book, but there's a 2 for 1 coupon on the 2008 edition :D

It's not hard to find: on Oakey, one block east of Las Vegas Boulevard. Stopped by last night with Mrs. k. and Sunnyhere for a Western Sundae after a delicious dinner at Yolie's Brazilian Steakhouse.

What a fun time!

We're not the brightest bulbs on the tree, so we drove past it about a thousand times.

For those looking for it, it's a few streets north of the Stratosphere and is literally a little shack on the left as soon as you turn onto Oakey.
