i know lots of the seats are taken up by last minute upgraders, but is anyone buying the biz class seats?

are there companies that pay for their employees to go business? which ones?

Not true. Last minute upgrades on routes to JFK, EWR, LAX, MIA, LHR and YYZ have been more and more hard to come by. They are actually selling a heck of a lot of C.

Not only are they selling a lot of business class, but there is a strong case for enlarging the b/c cabins on many of their routes (LHR/NYC) as it is often extremely difficult to get a paid b/c seat less than a week or two in advance. Compare with BA to LHR, for example, and you will have a much easier time.

I am one on those who buy S class and get upgraded sometimes. Very rarely do I buy W class and then only to Europe. I know only of some bankers who fly paid C (and sometimes paid F) but I know of no company except maybe NDS in my industry (IT) which pay by default for C for all employees. I will be happy to move to an IT company that flies only in C :-) :-)

Add TLV-BOM to that. I have a friend in the diamond business that has found it hard to get a paid C seat on short notice.

The Holy Grail! Anyone that shares this list with the rest of us will be extremely appreciated. :)

BA's flights are just as packed as LY's.

Looking at a number of dates for next week in fact I found more availability on LY in C on the route then on BA.
