Air New Zealand Air Points - Earning Airbucks on SQ?

OK

So last week need to go to Singapore and then Jakarta. No business class availability so economy it is (booked as Y).

Looked at account today and saw that airbucks had posted as "economy class" with the earn rate of discount economy.

Rang up ANZ and was told that for airpoints SQ had no full economy earning class and that Y counted as discount economy.

Does this sound right?

1.3.2 Route restrictions and residency conditions may apply to earning Airpoints Dollars on Partner Airlines - and some Partner Airlines' booking classes may have different earning rates for Airpoints Dollars. This depends on each Partner Airline's terms and conditions. Booking class eligibility and Airpoints Dollars' earning rates can be changed without notice. You can't earn Airpoints Dollars for travel on:
1.3.2.1 Air Canada fares in booking classes D,E,F,G,K,N,P,T and W.
1.3.2.2 All Nippon Airways fares in booking classes E,I,N,O,P,Q,R,U,V and X.
1.3.2.3 Asiana Airways fares in booking classes G,I,L,O,P,R,T,W and Z.
