a bizarre thing

I used mine Friday at lunch and give the coupon to the bar tender and he says I can't use it at the bar but I can sit right there (points to table three feet away) and I go there. Give the coupon to the waitress upon ordering.

So I order eligible stuff that totaled $12.60. I ask for the check and she tells me then that I "MUST" have at least $15 in eligible charges which isn't stated on the form. So I order a coffee for $2.50 and I meet the limit and pay like 25 cents plus tip but I thought that was such a stupid requirement.. I should have fought it since it isn't stated on the coupon.. or is it?

Used this yesterday for Seafood Newburgh and a ginger ale for a net cost of $1.82. Left $5. No problems at all.

If they hassle you, ask for separate table for each diner. :D

my lunch today cost 43 cents (plus $3 tip)!!! sweet deal---too bad it says only one coupon per table. I hope they offer this one again. THANKS to the OP^

do what we are doing today.. three of us will go to the bar area, each will take a table with the coupons and then ask the waitress if we can sit together and still use them.. if so, we will if not.. we will sit at separate tables

Four of us, four tables, would not let us sit together, tried the BS about must exceed or equal $15 again and this time we balked and they capitulated but they were not happy with us there today.. oh well too bad.. $12.60 again for me.. all covered by the cert.. $3 tip oop

Just got back from lunch. Suppose this info is only good at this point for future reference if there's another promo but no problem sitting at the bar at the F Street location in Washington DC. Over half the bar was pre-set with place settings so they cearly expect folks to eat there at lunchtime. I mentioned that I had a coupon and asked if ok to sit at the bar - was encouraged to do so.

One other interesting factoid - not sure if this was server error or the way it's supposed to be done but tax was only charged after the $15 coupon amount was deducted. My pre-tax total was $17.25, less $15 resulted in a bil of $2.25 plus tax and a resulting total of $2.48. Given that DC restaurant sales tax is 10% (yes, you read that right, it's 10%) that's a savings of another $1.50.

Thanks for the coupon... I'm a regular at the Burbank location and used the coupon the other day for a wonderful lunch of Seafood Corn Chowder and San Clemente Island Sand Dabs washed down with a great Flat Tire Draught Ale from the Tap! I left my usual 25% tip, based on total meal cost (w/o including tax) pre-coupon, and the Server and I were both happy!

When leaving I made a reservation for 4 persons for dinner later this week so M&S gets more mileage from the coupon!
