Asia - HKG-TPE-NRT on CI

Hi, I will arrive at TPE at 1:35am and my connecting flight to NRT is at 9:35am. My question is, is it possible to wait inside the airport till my morning flight? If so, in which area?

I also have a connecting flight from NRT-YVR on Air Canada. Arrive at 1:20pm(assuming the CI flight is not late), and depart at 5:00pm. Do you know if I will have to claim my lugage and clear custom before I can check in with Air Canada or would CI help me transfer my lugage over? If I have to clear custom again, will I have enough time? Thanks in advance.

I cant see why CI cant book your luggage al the way, why did you go such a route yu culd go direct from HKG to YVR you must loose a huge amount of time in transit more than doubling your journey time

TPE never closes; there are transfer waiting areas (though I've never used them). If you are qualified to use CI's lounge, it is by the gates and so accessible (but I don't know if it will be open). As for luggage, call CI to ask.

Flights into TPE land really late. Probably not a lot to do, though.
