Air New Zealand Air Points - AKL to YVR direct on a KLM code share?

I believe it's OK to post a cross-link to my own thread elsewhere AKL to YVR direct on a KLM code share? (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=750321), because I'm curious if anyone here can add anything to it.

I doubt KLM will actually place a flight number on the YVR service - they have had joint fares with NZ for years now (from memory used to be AKL-HKG-AMS-LHR and stuff like that), but it has all been accomplished without a codeshare. The fares are filed, however, so that's probably why the NZ flights show up on the KL website.
