oneworld - Any other way to maximize my miles with my DONE3?

NRT-CGK-HKG-JFK-SJO-EWR(JFK)-LAX-SAL-LAX-LHR-MCT-LHR-SIN-NRT
total miles 48029.
I was trying very very hard to try to add 2 more flight sector in Europe. But found that it will only have a very small increase in miles without breaking any rules.. anybody have any idea how I can increase ur mileage? I feel like doing something crazy.
PS : I read from many posters that Japan is the cheapest place to start a DONE3. I hope I am correct in starting from Japan.

SJO-DFW-JFK will give you an extra 1000 miles for the same number of segments, ...and better flight schedule.

LHR-IST-LHR can be added in europe for some extra miles.

Replace DPS with BOM (or Karachi) for 51766

Since I am flying the winter schedule, I dun think there are flights from DFW to ANC. Or am I wrong?

You are right, ANC flights operate only in summer.

If you don't have difficulty for turnaround at DEL,
NRT-DEL-HKG-LHR-....-HKG-DEL-NRT
earns more miles.
NRT-DEL,DEL-HKG don't have F service, but you are considering DONE3, so no problem.

Cannot be added in addition to MCT. Only one Middle East or Eastern Europe allowed.
I also have to add that those NYC-SJO flights will be less pleasant on a 757 "J" class for 7 hours. (ditto A300)
Edit: to add my 2 cents eliminating SJO total 52372 miles

I stand corrected. Odd that Greece is and Turkey isn't.
OK so if you do IST instead of HEL in mine above, its 53,200 miles.

Are you after qualifying miles or total miles? If total miles, remember that on or after 1 March 2008 you will not earn Elite bonus miles on BA, if you are crediting to AAdvantage.
