Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Question from a newby - transfer AA/Virgin miles to CX?

Hi all, excuse a probably dim question from someone brand new to the forum. I'm a silver Marcopolo member with 160k miles in my first 17 months in HK. I'd like to know if my miles from AA (23,000) and Virgin (18,000) can be transferred to either Marcopolo or SPG, my preferred hotel card. If not, are there forums to enable me to swap them? I don't want them to go to waste but they're not sizeable enough to redeem flights. Many thanks.

Out of interest, are all your miles from flying, or some from credit cards? 160k miles in 17 months should get you at least Gold status?

Thanks both, appreciate it. My miles are indeed a mix of the CX Visa card and flights, hence still at silver but hope to make gold by close of membership year. I'll check out points.com and see what I can wangle. Cheers.

like CX--> AA, 65000-> 2xx, sounds non-sense

AA->CX is much better, but still horrible. It is only useful if you are not going to use the points any more and have no use of them otherwise.
