I went to Hertz.ca to see how much it would cost for a 3 day rental, pickup downtown Montreal, return Boston Logan airport. Bizarrely enough, daily rate is $179 for a midsize and $89 for a premium or SUV. What gives? I was expecting to get a slightly elevated rental rate (say $70-80/day) for the midsize, plus a couple hundred dollar drop fee, but not this.
