Asia - YVR-TPE Best side of TPE approach?

Coming into TPE, is one side of the approach offer better scenery over the other?

if flight is on direct approach from the NE (say on 23 or 24), then the left side of the a/c will be views of the island. Keep in mind that the airport is not that close to Taipei, so you'll still be fairly high up on descent as you "pass" by the city.

having just arrived yesterday, i can assure you there is not really any view to speak of...
