I am flying LAX-SIN in J and then taking the late flight from LAX-BOM in F. I have some suppliers to meet in SIN and then on to eat the famous "CHILI" crab which the suppliers are paying for !!!!
But here is my question:
Since I arrive in J, is there an arrivals lounge where I can take a shower and then head out to the city? I would like to try to avoid the day room at a hotel in the city just for a quick shower and change of clothes.

SQ doesn't offer arrival lounge anywhere.
But if you fly SIN-BOM in F the day you arrive in SIN, you can use SKL F side as a departing F pax.

No Arrivals lounge, but you can use the SKL with your onward boarding pass, The F side has quite decent shower facilities, I must say.
As the others said, as long as you're not staying overnight in SIN, it should be fine to have a shower. Just ask for your SIN-BOM BP when you check in at LAX.
While chilli crab is great, I wouldn't get too excited about them paying--it is not very expensive at all!

While chilli crab is great, I wouldn't get too excited about them paying--it is not very expensive at all!
I know...but they also pay for the shark fin soup, drunken shrimp, the full grouper that has been cokked in the soy sauce and everything else along with it including the beer and dessert !!!

Even if the OP were staying overnight or longer, he could get his boarding pass for the SIN-BOM sector at Changi on arrival from LAX as long as it is within 48 hours of the flight....then use the SKL F as usual before going through immigration and into town :D
