I discovered today that transfers have been enabled on my Series 3 TiVo. Widescreen HD content, on my network, seems to be transferring to my PC at the rate of 1.5 hours per 1 hour of content. YMMV.
It also appears to be wrapped in the same old easily removed DirectShow wrapper, though I expect the content is watermarked.
Now I can keep up with my shows on the long trips, again.
