Dulles Airport officials have sounded the all-clear after the ticketing and security screening areas were evacuated because of a suspicious bag.
Airports Authority spokeswoman Courtney Prebich said upper level of the Washington area's busiest airport was evacuated shortly after 3 p.m. while security guards examined the piece of luggage.
A screener at the security checkpoint in the main terminal spotted something suspicious in a male passenger's bag. At that point, a bomb-sniffing dog was brought in and it, too, had a hit on the bag.
