An excerpt:

A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority says the entire ticketing level on the main level of Dulles was evacuated shortly after 3 p.m. Spokeswoman Courtney Prebich says security guards are examining the piece of luggage.

"Using an abundance of caution, TSA closed the ticket level on which the checkpoint is located and evacuated passengers and staff," he said. "Many of the passengers waited in the bag-claim level. TSA had a squad come in to check out the bag and gave it the all-clear at about 4:15 p.m."
