Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Will we have enough time?

We are in J from LHR - HKG and on to AKL. We land at HKG at 1805 and our onward flight is at 2105. I presume we have to go through some "transit immigration" before we can get to either the Wing or the Pier. We would dearly like to have shower before boarding our next flight - will we have time assuming everything is to time?

You have plenty of time. Only go through security and nothing else.

Unlike the US, HKG does nto require transit pax to clear immigration. CX can check your bags right through to AKL, so no need to clear customs as well.
Just head to your nearest transit point and then go to the Pier or Wing (depending where your AKL flight leaves)

You will have enough time for shower and dinner, and then still have another 90 minutes before boarding starts.

Its really easy.
You will arrive on the lower floor, departure is on the upper floor.
There are several transit points (security and escalators going up). Take any of them. When in the departure area look for the lounge (Wing and Pier are at different ends of the airport). Normally it should take you no more than 10/15 min from deplaning to lounge arrival.
So if nothing goes wrong you will have almost 2.5 hours in the lounge.
HKG is a well organized, modern and in general a very pleasant airport. Completely different from the dump called LHR or most US airports.

Excellent, thanks to everyone for their advice; I am so glad it sounds like we are going to be experiencing a well organised transit at HKG. Never thought of having dinner, assumed we would have that on the plane, but maybe our body clocks will be saying sleep sleep sleep by then so dinner on the ground might be better
