Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - JFK-LHR-JFK on AA Fare Class Q for Asiamiles?

I have an upcoming JFK-LHR-JFK flight on AA, under booking code Q.
From the AADvantage page, for a Q fare:
"Transatlantic tickets booked in Q are not eligible for mileage credit."
So that would mean no AAdvantage miles.

From the Asiamiles page, it says:
"Subclass Q is not eligible for mileage credit on Europe point of sale fares."

Since I bought this ticket in the US (StudentUniverse.com), do I understand it correctly that I could claim Asiamiles for this trip?

Q fares are not eligible for the accrual of Asia Miles.

Maybe Alaska's Mileage Plan?

I think subclass Q is eligible for Asiamiles. This is from the Asiamiles website: " Subclass Q is not eligible for mileage credit on Europe point of sale fares." It sounds like the POS for this is the US, so if that is correct, then I don't see why it wouldn't be eligible.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. Student Universe is based in MA, so point-of-sale is definitely US.

Anyway, I'll try to call AA and have my Asiamiles number associated with my reservation.
