Regular NH pax in C and I happened across a couple OZ flights.
First was OZ366 PVG-ICN. I was stuck in Y because C was full. Quick hop, got the bulkhead. Standard attentive service.

Transit the next morning onto OZ 104 in C. There wasn't a sole in line at check-in and the load was light that AM. I thought the lounge was great with free wifi and lots of fresh snacks. The aircon was certainly cranking.

Onto the plane and I must say it was a great seat! I have new frame of reference but it must have been the new C seat. Reminded me of a combination of the NH NewStyle C. The personal video screen was huge. Bigger (or as big) than current NH F. In-seat power kept me cranking all the way to NRT.

I skipped the service. The flight was short and I need to work.

But, the FA's were attentive and kept the beer comming. I'll certainly fly them again if they fit into my routing.

Cheers,

Scho

Thanks for posting. I've had similarly good experiences on the ICN-NRT route.

This came in via PM and I thought I'd add it to this thread. Yea I just can't get over that seat. It was a better seat than NH C I think. Bigger Video, better ergonomics too I think. But it was a morning flight and IIRC I only barely reclined.

First was OZ366 PVG-ICN. I was stuck in Y because C was full. Quick hop, got the bulkhead. Standard attentive service.

If you don't mind me asking, was it the new Business Class?

Well as a matter of fact it was! Funny, I now remember thinking when I got on board that it was the F cabin but I didn't find C on my way to Y! It was the same cabin that I flew to NRT and it was very nice.

I'm going to go ahead and post this response in the thread.

Cheers,

Scho

schoflyer, do you remember which aircraft you were on? OZ104 is usually a 767 flight, but I've seen A333 as a substitute. If it was a A333, then you definately got the new seat. Some 777s do have new seats as well. The screen on the new seat is 15 inches and is definately bigger than what NH has in their new business seats.
