On 11/3 I am flying nrt hkg on JL F. connecting to CX906 J (2 class service flight) to MNL. do I have access to F lounge? In addition I am meeting two associates rriving on CX 831 from JFK in Y. They are continuing to MNL in Y on CX906. Can I take 1 or both into the business or Floung as my guests?

You can try but I highly doubt it.

I just saw a post on AA baord re access to one world lounges. I checked the one world site and it talks about lounge access by clas of travel:
"Customers flying First or Business have acess to the equivalent class of lounge regardless of the frequent flyer status.(First Class passengers may be accompanied by one guest trqveling on a flight operated and marketed by a oneworld asirline.)" I would take that to meas I could bring one guest into the Wing.

But you are flying on J, not F, on CX906. I don't know whether you can get in the CX F lounge.

...and also,
The oneworld Lounge Access Policy
Lounge access is provided on a complimentary basis for designated premium passengers or for top tier frequent flyers with limited exceptions.
The oneworld alliance provides almost 500 lounges across the globe. Lounges are owned and operated by one of the oneworld partners. Some of the lounges may be operated by a third-party (non-oneworld affiliated).
Eligibility
In all cases, lounge access eligibility is based on:
* Departing carrier - you must be flying on your next onward segment, on the same day, on a flight marketed and operated by a oneworld member airline AND
* Frequent flyer tier status - you must also hold a frequent flyer card equivalent to oneworld Emerald or Sapphire status, OR
* Class of travel - you must produce a First or Business Class boarding pass for the journey's international segment on the same day.

In regards to F followed by J sectors, OW policy is:
"If you do not have oneworld Emerald or Sapphire tier status you are only eligible to access a lounge if you are travelling in First or Business Class, or if you are travelling in Economy on a domestic or intra-European flight to connect to or from a longhaul segment in a oneworld carrier's First or Business Class. "
NRT-HKG is not long-haul and HKG-MNL is neither domestic nor intra-European. Technically, only admission to the J lounge is guaranteed. If you are an OW Sapphire member, then you can take one guest into the J lounge.

I am not 100% sure, but based on Oneworld rules, if you hold a J class ticket (or eqv except opup) can you also have 1 guess (assuming you are not EMD or SPH).
As F class you can invite 1 guest to the F class lounge without status. but not sure for J Class?

It never hurts to try. If you did that before, you should be able to do that again. One guest is allowed. The only exception is CX DM/IN/DMP.

One guest is allowed in an OW J lounge for OW SA in whatever class the member is traveling. If traveling on J without status, no guest is allowed.

Thanks for all your replys. It seems I can at least take one guest in the J lounge and maybe one in the F lounge. I guess I'll have to wait and see and I will post the results when I return the middle of Nov. Again thanks for all the help, I don't know what I would do without FT!!
