Travel Technology - SPAM sender names make me nervous

why is it that the names listed as the sender of spam "quigley percy" "george Bertheimer" etc., often are somehow similar to names of people i really do know or of searches we have recently done. in this case, we have been emaiing with a mr bertheimer lately, but not george. coincidence or spyware? or what?

I immediately recognize spam by their use of English names (my native language is not English, and I know few people with that sort of names). I guess you fit the average user spam is trying to reach, and these name have nothing to do with you personally using them.

Never notice. I just delete.
