Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Why No A Inventory - CX 906 - 8 Mar 08

My agent tells me there is no inventory for A on CX 906 on 8 Mar 08. He even tells me he can't sell F and the seat map shows no assigned seats. I have seen no A forever on the HKG-JFK sectors but this is the first time I have seen CX apply this to the MNL-HKG sector. Is there anything I can do?

Uh, maybe they're dropping F service from this flight?

How about taking CX 900 instead?

A few months ago I bought a seat in F to travel on the CX0100 from SYD to HKG in Jan 2008 (using a UK-based web site). I guess CX has removed F class from this flight now and I've been re-seated into J. Has anyone had this experience and did they get a refund from CX?

I am going to try to book CX 900. The CX website is a bit strange for me. It seems to show three statuses for F books - N/A, available, and Full. I really don't believe or understand "Full".

If it was a paid F fare, yes, you will get a refund. If it was part of a OneWorld Explorer or similar RTW-type ticket, you will not get a refund.

N/A means that there is no First Class on that particular aircraft.
