QF only supply pyjamas on very limited flights in J.

F is Victorinox pouch with Acca Kappa amenities, and Shanghai Tang PJs.

J is Agnes b. pouch with Murad amenities.

In J, outbound is Murad, inbound to HKG is Dermalogica.

The QF PJ quality is pretty bad anyway.

In F for ladies there is a special brand (which I forgot) for the pouch. It looks pretty nice as a handbag

I do not know about the Qantas' PJs, but Shanghai Tang is very good. While they are provided as PJs on CX F, they are very stylish and do not look like PJs to me.

I saw a gentlemen wearing a Shanghai Tang PJ several days ago in a J cabin. It look like the ones provided in a F cabin. I suppose that was from one of his previous trips.

Not quite. They used to include a lanyard, but this was cut sometime in the past year... if that counts as a change.

Did you folks ever seen the green lady's kits in F ? It's outright atrocious. I used to ask for the female kits and give them away at home. Now, the kits look like they are made for 16 yr old teenagers. No ladies flying in FC would be impressed/interested in those.
Designed by a local designer from HKG, put together in VN, in HCMC of all places !!! ( even though the little sample tubby thangies are made in France. Oh c'a c'est de la m---- ! ). :td:

Minus the pocket knife I expect :D. Am I missing something (Victorinox make knives right?) or is this really just product placement?

They've diversified into general travel products, particularly luggage. The CX packs are made of the same material as their luggage, so they are promoting the toughness of their bags. It's a very stylish amenity bag for a man actually.

Actually the CX kit is made of a much lighter material than the one used for the Victorinox luggage. But I agree, it is quite nice.
Victorinox sells a kit almost exactly the same size as the one they use for CX, but with better (tougher) material.

Regarding no PJs in J has anybody ever asked when on board the possibility of getting a pair to save the clothes you are flying in? What was the FA reaction to such a request?

Are you referring to the pj's given to J pax on QF overnight flights or the QF F pj's? They are completely different products. As far as I am aware QF are the only 3-class airline to offer pj's in J.

the J Class PJs. Sure they give out PJs, but the quality is pretty ordinary and it is not on all night flights.

Like ther Caviar service in F? ... happened to it?

I would also expect the J and F pjs are completely different. BTW, is there anyone flown in both QF and CX F before like to tell us how he/she feels about the two types of pjs?

Caviar service for the present is limited to QF1 and QF107 - both out of SYD.

No Caviar on QF107 SYD-JFK when I travelled on it last month.

The CX PJ (F Class SHT) is better than the QF ones.

I just saw a 4 page print ads, in a US magazine called Departures ( it comes out bi-monthly) for sinful consumptions only : they list their product lines : Apparel / Travel Gear / Watches / Cutlery / Multi-Tools.

I haven't flown on Cathay in ages, but this story details the contents of several airlines' kits--Cathay is in the slide show--AND talks about the dollars inside the bags.
