Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - Experiences with Fox Cars in Phoenix?

Does anyone have any experiences with Fox Rental Cars in Phoenix (good or bad) to share? I've never heard of them, and am thinking of booking a car through the airport location.

I've rented a car in Fort Lauderdale through Sunshine Ren-a-car which I believe is part of the Fox network.


Their location was off site, but they offered free shuttle.

They had the most reasonable rates, even with the under 25 year old fee which was significantly lower than with any other rental car (and this is before I found out I don't have to pay it with Enterprise as part of my alumni discount)


So I had rented an economy. Got a nice little Saturn Ion. Car was fantastic on gas mileage.... drove around Broward and Miami-Dade for a while, even made it down to Key West all on the same tank of gas, so I was impressed.


No complaint from me.

PS. I rented Enterprise in phoenix, got an awesome upgrade from Intermediate to a Nissan Maxima which I understand is a premium, and got a fantastic rate... but the consolidated facility fees really killed the deal, I believe the fees came out to about the same what the daily rental charge was. :eek:

Rented at FOX a couple of times. (not at PHX).

Rented a minivan out of LGB. Very cheap rate ($40 for 1 day all in) & I was moving stuff from storage to garage. Location took forever to get me vehicle.

Recent experience at AUS. Rented from Fox (doing business as Bentley Rent a Car). Rates were much, much less than others. (my rental was from Saturday to Tuesday). I noted every stratch, dent, etc on their form. Car was in decent shape. Decent rental experience.
