bmi diamond club - Can't sign up!
Hi,
I've been trying on and off over the past 2/3 weeks to sign up a few family members for a Diamond Club account. Unfortunately I have not been able to get past the main screen. Being located in the U.S., I cannot figure out another way to get these accounts set up (not going to spend a long time on a long-distance call to BMI).
Any suggestions? I know the website is a little finicky, but I was hoping it would be fixed by now. I have to open these accounts and get them status-matched over within about 6 weeks.

I think it gives you an opportunity to use a a US work address. (later in the
application form)
Use a friend's address somewhere else.. and use work address as a primary address for all correspondence.
Unfortunately I do not have a friends address to use in the EU, or elsewhere in the world for that matter. I have tried signing up with "Other" as a country and that does not work either, so I have a feeling that there may be an issue with the website rather than signing up based out of the US, given that it is an option.
Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Hi,
I tried joining and couldn't either. I emailed and PMed diamond club a few days ago, but haven't heard anything yet. How long does it take to get a membership account established? Just curious.

Joanna does things pretty much immediately for us, so if it's not, I have no doubt that means she's on hoilday this week.
She's not a one woman show down there (well, she is to us), but most of the things FT'ers want, she does.
I just got the web site to (finally) work after also trying for several days. Try one more time if you haven't already leveraged Joanna's offer to do it manually.
I now have my membership and it is time for a status match request^^

I think with the website in its current state it is possible to sign up successfully providing you leave your business phone number blank and choose a meal perference.

I tried doing it via the website, but it seems that someone at bmi DC has already created a profile for me, though I have not received a reply or PM back. So I thought I would retrieve my account by using the "Forgot my password" feature, and although it acknowledges my email address and says that my password has been reset and a new one has been sent, I've been unsuccessful receiving it on a couple of attempts since yesterday. I also don't want to create multiple accounts, but wish they would get back to me with the account info! I will try to contact them.
