Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Asia Miles Call Centers Overwhelmed Again?

It seems like the phone wait times have been so long today that eventually CX's phone system is dropping the phone calls.
Is anyone having any luck getting through to Asia Miles anywhere, and, if so, where?
If this is related to the award chart changes going live tomorrow, then CX should have anticipated the last minute rush and staffed appropriately. The last ten hours of calling have not been pleasant.

I called MPC a few days ago, I kept encountered engaged tone. So I called about mid-night HK time. There was no more engaged tone. So you can try calling late night or early morning.
I kept getting disconnected after entering my AM number and pressing 1 for reservations. I finally reached an agent who assured me that the reservation I called about on Monday to ticket would eventually be ticketed. (I was concerned when I didn't receive a ticketing confirmation within 24 hours.)

I normally call late at night HK time, when you always seem to get through within a minute or two (even as a lowly green).
But yesterday I had to call during the day. First time, I was put in the queue, and eventually got a recorded message saying their lines are overwhelmed, please leave a message.
So I hung up and called back immediately--this time my call was answered within a minute, there's no way that call entered the queue, given how busy they were.
Perhaps there are some bugs in their call queueing software? Or sometimes MPC agents just ignore how long people have been waiting and just answer whatever call they want (to my benefit this time).
