Gentlemen, I have a couple of questions. Last year I was Silver and I managed to get Gold by July 07. Suddenly I have decided to fly to Asia in September(20000 miles), next wednesday, another 20000 and finally in November I will be going to Phuket(20000) and the total will put me over 120000 Asia miles for 2007. Will Cathay reverse the Gold status for 07 and give me Diamond instead? The good think I have already requalified for Gold till 2009.:)
Second questions: my flight on 10/18 showd zero in Y and only 1J and 1C and F 2. Good chance for an op-up?Thank you

Did you mean you already put on 60K between July and now?
Unfortunately, the answer is negative. Yuor Club Miles and Sectors was reset to 0 when you achieve Gold. Except for very, very odd situation, you have to count 120K miles from that point to get to Diamond.

Hard to say. A lot of things can change between now and then. It also depends on where you depart as well. I saw a flight with Y0 and J7 once. A day before the flight, it became Y9:eek:.

Thank you, I will have another 60000miles by end of november, I have 30000 miles by now; the joy of back to back days off. I really hope for the upgrade, 4 for 4 between july and september
