Hi all,
having completed 2 short sectors BKK-SIN-BKK a couple of days ago, first one in C, latter one in Y.
As becoming familiar with huge complaints about different airlines I am used to fly I thought I join in and post a report about LX :) :
First leg was BKK-SIN, we were able to use TGs lounge in BKK, nice enough for me. Onboard, crew was nice, seats were worse than LH or TG (me thinks short about 10-15cm), and I´m only 178cm tall. Food was disguting to put it nicely. Some absolutely dry fish with condiments. I saw -including myself- 5 pax complaining about the meal service "I´m sorry, but it´s a long way from Zurich" was the answer I´ve got. Aah, but why not stocking up in BKK?
Return: Upon checkin I was told that my *G-card (UA) was no good in SIN for bringing my guest in the SATS premier lounge... Why? "Because LX does not want to pay more than it is obligated to do." Mentioning that this is against the *A rules doesn´t help, so we were on our way to the TG lounge were we were warmly greeted. Thanks for that, TG :)!
Onboard, only half of the Y cabin seemed to be full before 5 mins to departure time. After trying to swap our AB seats for a row of 4 seats, the FA told us that only after take-off (and seat-belt singn off) this can be done, before it would be considered as an act of disobedience. Oh year, good. After that, the fact that waking up(!) my sleeping partner (by shaking her until she responds) for meal service by that particular FA doesn´t dare to disturb me more :mad:.
LX: I hope I never see you in the near or far future, however great your rates might be!
